Let’s Discuss:
The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari Book Review:
- From the starting itself, the story was narrated by the character name john (a lawyer).
- One day suddenly Julies Montel got a heart attack and felt on Court floor, everyone one was shocked for that incident and take him to a hospital immediately. Everyone (especially john) was thinking about the health condition of Julies Montel and details about where he went?
- After somedays, a Monk visited John’s House and started the conversation with him.
- you will get an idea about who is the Monk? why he became a monk?
- That Monk explained few Techniques those he learnt from the Raman Yogi (Leader of shivana petam) and also told like his life was divided into two parts like before and after the visit of Shivana Petam.
- The entire story was A conversation between two characters, John and A Monk.
- The monk explained the Most valuable techniques, and principles which are learnt from Raman Yogi, those things are helpful to our daily life’s.
Some Techniques like
Blueprinting
Simple Lifestyle
The secret of Lake,
Enjoy the present etc.,
explained with examples and proverbs those are useful for our life.
- The Monk narrates a story of a Sumo Warrior. In that story, there are Seven Elements or principle. Those are
The Sumo Warrior |
The Garden |
The lighthouse |
The Stopwatch |
The Pink wire Cable |
The Fragrant Roses |
The Path of Diamonds |
Each Symbol having a Unique good quality and meaning which are valuable and useful to our life.
One of the Principles mentioned above –The Garden tells about the importance of the way of thinking.
Let assume your life as a beautiful garden, your thoughts are like visitors and you are the watchmen for that garden, do you allow any visitors who spoil that beautiful garden? Definitely no. So assume that bad visitors as negative thoughts which comes to your mind and good visitors as positive thoughts. So never allow Bad visitors (Negative thoughts) to spoil your beautiful garden ( Your life) and kept your garden clean and happy with Good Visitors (Positive thoughts).
like this story, every seven principles have unique good idealogy.
After following those seven qualities we really change our way of thinking in our busy lifestyle.
I really like all the techniques especially “ Enjoy the present” was really awesome, the Monk explained this method with a story of a boy called Peter (a daydreamer). After completing the story everyone (especially day dreamer’s) will change their mindset.
