Explanation:
(M.S. Excel shortcut keys using ctrl a to ctrl z).
Ctrl + A to Ctrl + Z
Ctrl + A: To select the Entire Text.
Ctrl + B: To Convert the text into the Bold
Example: Elephant ( Press Ctrl + B ) then Elephant
Ctrl + C: To Copy the Data of the selected Cells (or) Tables.
Ctrl + D: To Fill/copy the Text of a cell along with the downward cells.
Example: A cell having text like “Apple” If you want to copy the text Apple to the other cells what we will do? we just drag the cell from the below right corner up to the no.of.cells we required. Like this

It’s Okay, but what about The Weekly Days, Months, if you drag the cell of January the remaining cells filled with February, March, April etc.,

But you need to fill the word January on the other cells. so first you select the no.of.cells from the main cell and press Ctrl + D.

Then select the required area to copy and press Ctrl + D. Then the result will be

Ctrl + E: To Copy the First and Last few Letters of a word.
Example: In an Excel Table, there are a list of Days Like Sunday, Monday, Tuesday,.. ….like that, if you want the first (or) Last few letters This Short cut will be used. Let us see

Give the required no.of.letters atleast in the two cells like Mon, Tue

Then Select the required area to apply and press Ctrl + E then the result will be like

Note: It will also apply for the last letters with a similar procedure.
Ctrl + F: To Find the Existed Data. By pressing the Ctrl + F a dialogue box will open, and give the word you required as input and then click on find you will get that required word.
Ctrl + G: To Find any cell (or) Table (or ) a range this shortcut will be used.
Example: If you want to see/edit the cell H23 then press Ctrl + G and type H23 on the reference search bar and press ok button, you will get the H23 cell.
Ctrl + H: To replace any text with another word.
When you press the Ctrl + H a dialogue box which automatically selected the option of “REPLACE” will display on the screen.
First, give the word you need to replace at the Find what option and give the word which you want to be replaced with and choose the option like Replace at how many places if you want to replace the word.
If you want to replace Any word through all over the sheet then select the option “replace all”.
Ctrl + I: To convert the Selected text into Italic
Ex:- Penguin
( After pressing Ctrl + I ) Penguin
Ctrl + K: To Insert the Hyperlink.
You can Insert the Another Files link in a selected sheet cell.
Example 1. If we have 2 Excel files as Excel 1, Excel 2. We can insert the Excel 2 file in a sheet Excel 1.
Example 2. We can also Insert the Website links,
Let Assume the Excel table having words like Facebook and twitter
After Pressing Ctrl + K a dialogue box called Insert Hyperlink will appear and at the bottom there is an option called Address, at that place give the website link and press ok.
If we press on the words of Facebook (or) twitter in the above table we will directly access to that website on our browser. (Just try at above)
Note: we can also insert the Pdf, Excel, word links.
Ctrl + L: To Insert the Table to a data.
If we have some data on the sheet so we can create or insert a table to that data.
Example: If we have data like this

Press Ctrl + L then we will get the result like

Note: we can also make the Headers to the table.
Ctrl + N: We can open a new workbook.
Ctrl + O: We Can open a Saved / existing file.
Ctrl + P: We can print the Selected area or Entire workbook.
Ctrl + R: We can Fill/copy the data to the right side area.
(Note: It is like Ctrl + D = We can copy the data downwards in this Ctrl + R = we can fill the data in the right side). |
Ctrl + S: To save the file in a save as mode.
If we Press this shortcut on a newly worked file, it will ask you the File Name and save as type, if you are using already saved file, this option will never ask you.
Ctrl + T: To Insert or to create a table for the data. Same like Ctrl + L.
Ctrl + U: To give the underline for the selected date.
Ctrl + V: To paste the copied data at the selected place.
Ctrl + W: To close the workbook.
Ctrl + X : To cut the Selected data.
Ctrl + Z: To remove the applied command to the data (Undo).
Ctrl + Y: To bring back the removed command to the data (Redo).
